The beginning of Altra was simple.

A couple of passionate runners and a shoe they knew they needed...
which didn't exist...

A shoe that went against the status quo.
Spoiler: They didn't really care.

They didn't mean to start a company, but when no one else would make the shoe they needed...

They built it themselves.
